Video Game Addiction: a Real Problem?

For most, video games are a form of enertainment for people who enjoy playing them. For some, it may have gone too far.

The American Medical Association will be deciding whether video game addiction really is a mental problem. It may soon be included in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

Based upon a poll of GameFaqs, 50% of the people think its "just an excuse" or "not a mental problem at all". 40% people think it "may be a problem like gambling" and 10% are not sure.
